The date shown in the photo in from my camera.. God Bless each and every one of you. dimensions:12 x 16 or 30.4 x 40.6cm Ever since I was young i have loved how Art allows someone to express themselves without discrimination. I grew up in a disfunctional family(like most of us). My father was a Violent Alcoholic and drug abuser and my mother and sister were the abused.I seen so many things growing up that a child should never have to see.If it was not for My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his talents he gave me through Painting drawing and singing i would not of know how to cope growing up with the new challenges everyday put upon me.I would hide my emotions in my artwork and paintings and tended to stay to myself. He died at 47 years old and shortly thereafter i resorted to what I new best to deal with my sorrow. I poured my heart into my artwork. I then went on to draw one of my most Prized posetions applicable named Hope.See what I have learned through the trials I have faced is that for there to be darkness there must be light where there is rain there must me a rainbow and where there is despairity there is always hope. And as you see in this painting amist all the darkness this little flower glows like never before. This is my story. My name is Angelica and i am an Artist.
This painting is called "Lacrimo Urbs" which is Latin, meaning ruffly The Melting City. It was part of a series I did about the end of days and the coming of the end of the world. It was down by good old fashion finger painting. If you like it or want or would like something like give me a shout.
"All art is a fraud" a man named Pablo said that.
